Brand identity and packaging for Stone Road, an independent California-based pre-roll company. The brief was to develop a premium packaging experience that could be flexible across flavors/strains while keeping SKU production relatively low. We designed custom slip-case boxes, using photographs of the actual farm to incorporate natural textures, and utilized a sticker system to act as a strain identifier.
There was also a desire for a simple, versatile SKU for a line of concentrates. This was approached in a more vibrant way, with hand-painted type and nearly vibrational colors, to reflect the intensity of the product. There was a highlighting system to identify the different products, while keeping costs down with only printing one SKU
